We are looking to bring on a Senior Asset Manager to oversee the performance of X Co’s national portfolio of mixed-use multifamily apartment buildings. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to apply your quantitative expertise and customer-service mindset in a collaborative, fast-paced, and results-oriented environment. The ideal candidate for this role has experience exceeding expectations in managing the performance of multifamily assets and a strong accounting and finance background.  We’re looking for a dynamic collaborator who focuses on outcomes. A conscious thinker who is able to juggle many different priorities concurrently and consistently make decisions that positively impact the health of X Co’s portfolio and its residents. 

Key Responsibilities:

-Maximize total return for XCo's multifamily portfolio through the analysis of property efficiencies and identifying opportunities for improved performance.  This means diagnosing and responding to property performance, market challenges, occupancy issues, and various other drivers of asset financial performance

-Prepare and present annual budgets and business plans for the portfolio that illustrate strategies for adding value and enhancing performance

-Develop and distribute periodic asset management reports to investors, consultants and other partners

-Responsible for consolidated budgeting and forecasting for all properties

-Where appropriate, collaborate with the Enterprise team on portfolio level marketing and leasing efforts

-Model full life cycle financial analysis for assets 
-Operate as a leader on the Asset Management team

Key Skills

-Strong financial acumen with demonstrated ability to understand portfolio financing and investment goals

-Advanced proficiency with excel

-Exceptional analytical, communication, and organizational skills

-Ability to create sophisticated financial models

-Familiarity with loan documents, leasing documents, and vendor contracts
-Ability to communicate effectively with many different stakeholders including company executives, lenders, team members and property management senior leaders 

 

Qualifications

-5+ years of experience in multifamily asset management 
-MBA or CPA highly preferred
-Advanced proficiency in modeling real estate assets in excel and ARGUS
-Must be fully vaccinated against covid-19 by your first day of employment
