Adventurous Journeys Capital Partners (“AJ”) is seeking a Director of Office Leasing to drive leasing activities in the company’s Wedgewood Houston developments and support its rapid growth across various mixed-use investment platforms across the country.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Director, Office Leasing will be the main point of contact at AJ to own and drive leasing activities at our upcoming office projects, including multitenant and build-to-suit opportunities. The primary focus will be community outreach to proactively develop a strong pipeline of prospective tenants. This role will be a critical partner to the acquisitions, development, legal, and retail leasing teams to build out multiple developments in the Wedgewood Houston neighborhood.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Proactively source and pre-market upcoming development leasing opportunities in the Wedgewood Houston area
- Develop a pipeline of potential office tenants through Nashville relationships, external research, and direct outreach to relocation prospects
- Partner with brand and graphic design departments to finalize marketing packages for future tenant prospects
- Plan tenant broker events to market the space in the community
- Liaise with third-party landlord leasing representative to arrange tours for prospective tenants
- Understand the story and brand behind the company’s expansive development and serve as a representative of the firm to external stakeholders in the community
- Review leases and prepare LOI’s, partnering with Senior Counsel and Acquisitions leadership
- Provide regular office leasing status updates to and communicate regularly with the Wedgewood Houston development team
- Prepare relevant market research, leasing metrics and value-add leasing opportunities
WHO YOU ARE
AJCP is seeking a highly-motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, but disciplined, entrepreneurial environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a marketing, sales, brokerage, or community relations role. This role also requires the following capabilities:

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- 7+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Marketing or related discipline
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Preferred
- At least 5 years of relevant experience working in a brokerage, corporate sales, or economic development role
