Pennybacker Capital is seeking a Performance Reporting Analyst to join its dynamic and entrepreneurial team, reporting to the Managing Director of Finance/Chief Compliance Officer. Pennybacker Capital is a rapidly growing real estate private equity firm that invests in select growth markets of the United States. Essential Functions:
- Produce detailed financial and real estate data analyses on assets and fund level performance for firm’s quarterly investor reporting utilizing proprietary firm technologies
- Prepare specialized quarterly performance reporting to institutional investors
- Provide and/or review data for investor materials (investor presentations, website updates, property tour books, etc.) in collaboration with cross-functional colleagues
- Facilitate completion and delivery of investor information requests in coordination with Investment, Asset Management, Data, and Finance teams
- Liaison with fund administrators in the quarterly fund financial statement preparation
- Ensure all materials prepared for external parties are in line with compliance standards by coordinating with the Chief Compliance Officer
- Perform ad hoc reporting as requested by management
Qualifications – Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Undergraduate degree in accounting, business, or finance or 2+ years relevant experience
- Strong technical skills in accounting and finance with advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- 2+ years of work experience in public accounting, banking, commercial real estate or other investment/finance related area; exposure to real estate a plus
- Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
- Confident under pressure and adept at meeting deadlines
- Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and balance competing priorities
- Excels in a support role and is comfortable accepting and providing constructive feedback
- Strong relational skills and the ability to multitask
- Willingness to learn new technologies
