JOB SUMMARY
The purpose of this position is to assist and support the ARMs department by reviewing and auditing document and contractual data and provide loan servicing for all loan types.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Reviews all new loans and prepares loan set-up specifications.
System to note audit and review of ARMs and fixed rate loans post conversion. Ensures loan information is correct within the system and matches original loan documents.
Reviews and prepares implementation instructions on modifications.
May assist in providing support to servicing departments/Asset Managers/Portfolio Managers in the analysis of ARM/DIAL (Deferred Interest Accruing Loans)/modifications/complex reconciliations.
Handles customer service issues regarding ARM loans/modification/complex reconciliations.
Reviews loan document for ARM criteria.
Evaluates, Analyzes and calculates ARM changes. Reviews ARM reports to ensure accuracy and integrity.
Prints and mails ARM document change notifications as necessary.
Reviews and tests all ARM logic in Beta test versions of Strategy.
Other duties as assigned.

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and/or a minimum of 2 years related experience.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor. Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees.
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires basic analytical skills.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Proficient in common Microsoft applications including: Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Working knowledge of: the McCracken Strategy (AS400 based) loan servicing software preferred. Ability to interpret mortgage loan documents. Must be organized, efficient and capable of handling and prioritizing numerous assignments and deadlines simultaneously.
