Joining HID’s Physical Access Control Solutions Business (PACS):

The PACS business is highly visible and one of our most significant portfolios within HID Global. The PACS products include smart cards, mobile access and identifications, software, services and controllers for physical access control. This role will report into the Director of End User Business as part of the sales department, supporting the Financial or Corporate verticals in North America. This role will be the voice of HID and help us be the “trusted advisor” to both the end user and influencer / consultant communities.


As our End User Business Manager, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

  • Developing and scheduling the deployment of required Named End-user programs to address individual End-user needs.
  • Identifying and understanding the business models of the Named End-user accounts as it relates to security.
  • Cooperating and coordinating with company internal technical resources and project teams to effectively communicate the expansion/transition to future technology.
  • Providing educational/awareness briefings and trainings for End-users to reinforce HID Global’s role as “Trusted Advisor”.
  • Interfacing, collaborating, and communicating effectively with other departments and business units/functional groups addressing the end-user in support of HID Global’s goals.
  • Maintaining a high degree of product knowledge, more on the spectrum/benefit/road map level.
  • Attending applicable industry tradeshows, meetings, and other HID internal and external events, especially with focus on speaking and presentation opportunity.
  • Providing timely and accurate monthly status report of group activities and progress using including product mix, timelines for delivery and revenue contribution.
  • Partnering with end user marketing for end user focused tools such as, developing whitepapers, brochures, web presence, speaker engagements, end user events, and “lead” nurturing new customers moving from physical access to digital mobile technologies.

 

What we will love about your background: 

  • Understanding and experience with the end user corporate culture, environment, and decision process within the Financial Services Industry is highly preferred.  
  • Strong knowledge of consultant community requirements and tools related to this vertical.

 

Your Experience and Education include:       

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or technology preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Physical Access Control or related technologies preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of Financial Industry vertical market and business development experience a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% required.
