About the role
CBRE Hotels New York office is seeking a Senior Associate to join its team. The role offers the unique opportunity to be directly involved in structuring hospitality transactions in NYC and across the US. Our clients include the most respected private equity, REITs, real estate funds and private investors in the hospitality industry.
What you'll do
- Proven track record of originating new business.
- Creates and gives presentations for existing and prospective clients.
- Lead assignments and work closely with the team to develop valuations, prepare proposals and offering memorandums.
- Interacts with investors to conduct marketing calls, property tours, manage negotiations and monitor the due diligence process through to closing.
What you'll need
- New York Salesperson License.
- 3-5 years of hospitality transaction experience with an established real estate company, development firm, investment banking or real estate private equity team focused on hospitality real estate transactions.
- Strong communication and business writing skills
- Strong working knowledge of the hospitality investment marketplace and established relationships with acquisition decision makers
- Working knowledge of finance/capital markets and impact on hospitality investments.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, managing time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently to and within established timeframes.
- Candidate should be detailed, proactive and self-motivated with strong work ethic. Must have the ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven team environment.
- Education: Minimum of a bachelor's degree from a four-year university. Preferred hospitality or real estate development/finance background. MBA is a plus although not required.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The salary for the Senior Associate is a $70,000 draw payment plan for one year.
