Senior Director of Accounting (CPA)

Based in Las Vegas, Nevada, the Principal is a longtime resident and major developer, who holds significant interests in commercial real estate and other investments.  Reporting to the Principal and Partners, the selected individual will analyze, consolidate and prepare reports on the financial and operational activities of a range of assets, including interests in partnerships and corporations, commercial holdings, investments and foundation.

 

Working closely with the Principal and Partners, the selected candidate will be responsible for activities such as commercial real estate accounting (using Sage accounting software), budgeting and forecasting, cash management, financial analysis (including CAM analysis and reconciliation), lender compliance and resource planning for various entities.  The accurate consolidation of financial and operational information in comprehensive monthly reports is an essential focus of the position. 

 

The ideal candidate will have foundational experience in commercial real estate development/management and property management as well as other investment vehicles. The primary focus of this experience will involve financial analysis, comprehensive reporting, financial controls, and the administration of a very active family office.  The ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external alliances is also important in this role.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE;

 

• CPA;
• Ten years in a senior level accounting position;
• Minimum of five years in commercial real estate development or asset management;
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or economics.
