Job Description
Paredim Partners, a leading regional real estate investment firm with a current portfolio of over 2,000 multifamily apartment units and 50,000 sf of commercial space is currently seeking to hire an Acquisitions/Asset Management Analyst to work within the firm's acquisitions/asset management team providing analytical support in connection with the company’s portfolio of investment properties. Additional responsibilities include the evaluation, underwriting, financial modeling and research associated with the acquisition, financing and disposition of investment properties and development projects working directly with the senior management team. RESPONSIBILITIES
· Create and utilize financial models to underwrite prospective acquisition opportunities
· Model hold/sell/refinance scenarios and various JV/partnership analyses
· Analyze market data including operating fundamentals and comparable rent/sale data
· Assist capital markets initiatives and executions by analyzing various debt and equity financing scenarios
· Maintain and update acquisitions pipeline
· Participate in property inspections and market tours
· Prepare presentations and written investment committee memorandums
· Participate in the preparation of annual operating budgets
· Analyze and monitor property and portfolio operational and financial performance
· Evaluate property capital improvement programs including costs/benefit analyses
· Provide support to required loan servicing obligations
REQUIREMENTS
· Highly motivated self-starter
· Ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment
· Exceptional quantitative modeling, analytical skills ,and attention to detail
· Superior writing and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
· High proficiency with Microsoft Office software, particularly modeling skills in Excel, PowerPoint, as well as with Argus. Experience with Yardi or MRI software a plus
The successful candidate must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, economics, accounting, or a related field and have at least 1-3 years of full-time experience in institutional real estate investment, investment banking, and/or private equity. Experience in the multi-family sector is preferred.
