We're looking for an Investor Marketing Manager who understands this distinction and has the surgeon or physician marketing experience to execute a relationship-first strategy. The Role

This role lives at the intersection of marketing and sales.

We think of marketing as one-to-many and sales as one-to-one. This role requires both. You'll create content and collateral that educates at scale (marketing), while also facilitating private dinners, intimate events, and relationship-driven outreach that builds conviction one surgeon at a time (sales).

As Investor Marketing Manager, you'll own the execution of our 10-channel capital raising strategy, a relationship-first approach built on peer credibility, geographic concentration, and high-trust touchpoints. This isn't about generating leads through paid ads; it's about orchestrating experiences that build conviction among sophisticated surgeon investors.

You'll have execution support through an offshore Marketing Associate for day-to-day tasks. Your job is strategy, architecture, and the relationship-building that drives qualified investor introductions to our Director of Investor Relations.

Execute Our Relationship-First Strategy
  • Private Dinner Program: Coordinate intimate 8-10 surgeon events across Indianapolis, Louisville, Cincinnati, Columbus, and Lexington. No slides, no pitch, peer-to-peer conversations that build trust.
  • Webinars & Educational Events: Host sessions that demonstrate expertise and address real investor concerns. Steel-man objections, validate sentiment, and lean into consultative, educational dialogue rather than transactional selling.
  • Ambassador Program: Activate respected surgeon investors, ASC owners and practice leaders as trust accelerators who facilitate warm peer introductions.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Execute quarterly partnership initiatives with organizations that serve our target surgeons.

Lead Content & Thought Leadership
  • Oversee podcast production, guest appearances, blog, and social content that speaks directly to our avatar: the Million-Dollar Surgeon ($1-3M income, ASC owner, K-1 sophisticated, time-starved, skeptical of cold outreach).
  • Coordinate SEO and digital presence across AptaInvest.com, VasuMD.com, and TheSurgicalInvestor.com. Map lead journey to existing assets and develop new assets to optimize the path from awareness to conviction and coordinate logistics for all the private events.

Own CRM Architecture & Pipeline
  • Direct Execution: Supervise an offshore Marketing Coordinator for day-to-day execution - list building, sequence management, content scheduling, and data hygiene, deal stages, workflows, and automations - that tracks the investor journey from first touch to capital commitment.
  • Track What Matters: Build scalable SOPs that document your playbook. Monitor pipeline health, conversion by channel, and the quality of investor introductions reaching our Director of Investor Relations.
  • Manage Resources: Own the marketing budget and coordinate execution across initiatives.

Compensation
  • Base Salary: $85,000 - $90,000 depending on experience.
  • Performance Bonus: Up to $25,000+ annually based on achievement of company and role-specific outcomes, bringing total compensation potential to $110,000+.
  • Unlimited PTO: We trust you to manage your time and deliver results. Take what you need.
  • Long-Term Growth: Path to Director of Investor Marketing with compensation growth commensurate with company outcomes as we scale to 1,000 investors.

Who You Are
Required
  • Location: Based in Indiana, Ohio, or Kentucky. You'll coordinate in-person events across our primary markets. This role requires geographic presence.
  • Experience: 5+ years in marketing with 2+ years leading campaigns or projects. Demonstrated experience marketing to surgeons, physicians, or healthcare professionals is essential.
  • Consultative Mindset: You understand that sophisticated investors have real objections. You can steel-man those concerns, validate sentiment, and guide prospects through an educational process - not a transactional pitch.
  • Event Marketing: Proven track record executing high-touch events - private dinners, seminars, or conferences for sophisticated, high-net-worth audiences.
  • CRM Proficiency: Hands-on experience with HubSpot campaigns, workflows, and automation. You're comfortable building the system, not just using it.
  • Leadership: Experience managing team members, external vendors, or agency partners.
  • Communication: Exceptional written communication and meticulous attention to detail. You can write investor-grade content and facilitate a room of surgeons.

Preferred
  • Background in real estate, finance, healthcare, or investor relations.
  • Experience marketing specifically to surgeons, physicians, or high-income medical professionals for investments or financial services.
  • Familiarity with SEC 506(b) and 506(c) compliance for investor communications.
  • Remote/offshore team management experience.
  • Comfort with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate execution.
