Job Overview
- Maintain the system of accounting, including a supporting filing system. (Accounts payable/Accounts receivable)
- Prepare account reconciliations and journal entries as needed to support the month-end close activities.
- Review all check requests for proper approvals, supporting documentation and adherence to company policies. Prepare checks for signature.
- Responsibilities include business tax and licensing fees.
- Preparation of bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Support of the development department including job cost accounting, loan documentation and bank submittals.
- Ensure compliance with department policies and procedures.
- Assist with problem solving and provide recommendations on process improvements.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Process all employee journal entries for all expenses
- Manage payroll
Qualifications:
- Accounting degree required.
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience preferably in an accounting firm environment.
- Mandarin skills are required.
- Competency in Microsoft applications especially Excel.
- Competency in QuickBooks required.
