Research & Financial Analyst

Lincoln Property Company (Commercial) is seeking a Real Estate Research & Financial Analyst to support multiple teams within its Boston office. Primarily the candidate will work with the Research, Acquisition and Appraisal departments. The successful candidate will play an important and integral role on each team. This position offers an outstanding opportunity to learn and develop a broad range of research, underwriting, appraisal and presentation skills. This position is located in Lincoln Property Company’s regional commercial operations headquarters in Boston, MA. 

Quantitative Analysis:

• Develop complex financial models in Excel and Argus
• Compile, review and analyze quarterly market statistics
• Prepare forecasts and lease analysis
• Review due diligence materials during acquisition process

Market and Property Research:

• Compile and create quarterly market reports
• Oversee the sales and lease comparables database
•  Analyze property investments and market trends

Presentation and Document Writing:

• Prepare investment memos and quarterly research reports
• Participate in the review and analysis of due diligence materials
• Assemble other relevant research reports and memorandum materials

Experience Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree
• 1-3 years relevant work experience
• Financial analysis and cash flow modeling (including Argus AE)
• Familiarity with Greater Boston Commercial Real Estate market preferred
