Private Real Estate company based in Charlotte, NC that acquires and develops commercial real estate assets throughout the South East and other parts of the Country. The firm is looking for a CFO, preferably with experience in the commercial real estate sector. A partnership opportunity could exist for the right candiate. Below is a description of some of the duties required:
- Oversee all accounting functions for multiple real estate entities, including the day-to-day accounting, month-end close activities, tax return preparation
- Process monthly construction draws.
- Monitor banking activities of the organization.
- Oversee cash management, assist with monthly payables, and assist in the execution of check signing.
- Loan payment and managements
- Ideally a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, but will take relevant experience into account regardless of college education
- 5+ years of related accounting/finance experience
- Real estate knowledge and experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Quickbooks
- Ability to follow-up in a timely manner
- Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills, plus excellent organization skills
- Previous Financial Statement preparation
- Excellent timely, clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Thrive in a challenging and fast-paced work environment
- Interest in Commerical Real Estate and Development
