Required: BA with a major in real estate, finance, business, engineering or related field with good academic performance

Experience/Skills
Required experience: 4+ years of experience as a property manager, in an asset management function, or in a related finance, real estate or investment business; CPM designation a plus.
Required experience: Knowledge of financial/property accounting and the ability to analyze financial statements, operating budgets/reports, leases, and related documents.
Required skill: Microsoft Office, working knowledge of Argus preferred.
Required skill: Highly organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to multitask effectively in an entrepreneurial environment.
Required skill: Good judgment and problem solving skills are required for this position.
Required skill: Ability to interface professionally with team members, tenants, third party firms, partners and industry leaders.
Required skill: Strong oral and written communication skills.

Position Responsibilities and Goals
Assist Senior Asset Managers in managing properties to maximize asset value by meeting or exceeding original underwriting assumptions. Quickly grow into a role of managing a portfolio of properties.
- Produce property operating and capital budgets; track actual performance and provide variance analysis.
- Upload data from third party property managers to Yardi and export data to proprietary excel models.
- Updates to corporate wide reporting for individual portfolio performance.
- Participate in development of best practices for Asset Management team.
- Create budgeting and CAM Rec templates.
- Review Monthly property operating reports, identify operational/financial issues, and coordinate changes in property management to meet operational goals and maximize NOI.
- Provide oversight of tenant or landlord capital projects.
- Perform site visits (some travel required), coordinate third-party inspections, and recommend repair and maintenance work to ensure properties are maintained in good condition.
- Work with CFO to create investor presentation materials and other required reporting documents.
- Interact with accounting in resolving reporting questions.
- Assist internal and external leasing teams on proposals, lease negotiations, etc.; develop knowledge of local markets and competitive properties. Grow into leading leasing process and lease negotiatons.
Participate in production of regular and ad hoc financial reports and analyses.
Other duties as assigned.
