POSITION SUMMARY:
The A/P Supervisor will lead a team of A/P Coordinators to perform weekly tasks and manage implementation of new processes and procedures to accomplish company directives.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise A/P coordinators and provide process support where needed
Manage the weekly check runs process
Review and approve vendor invoice batches for accuracy, completeness and proper coding
Review reconciliation and application of credit card payments
Manage the creation/update of vendor information, W-9 and ACH verifications
Research and respond to inquiries from persons within and outside of the company
Maintain technical tasks within the A/P processes
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
Strong attention to detail
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a changing environment
Comfortable dealing with employees of all levels
Must be organized and have good time management skills
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Associate s or Bachelor s degree in related field preferred
2-4 years of directly related A/P experience in a corporate environment
Prior supervisory experience preferred
