Government Hires Real Estate Professionals

After a long absence, the Federal Government including the FBI and government-related nonprofits (economic development corporations, housing authorities) are actively recruiting on the SelectLeaders Real Estate Job Network. It comes at a time when Real Estate is at the forefront in solving social problems. Utah’s “Housing First” project is so successful it could eliminate homelessness in the state in 2015. Housing First gives homeless people permanent apartments, providing the stability that’s lacking in temporary solutions like shelters and halfway houses. And legislators take note, at a lower cost to taxpayers and the state government. The lesson: “People do better when they have stability.” Many end up back in the workforce again. In our industry, happily more and more people at all levels and all ages who have been unemployed are back at it again in great jobs, like the ones below.
