Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Own responsibility for identifying acquisition opportunities through cold calls to SNF owners, operators, accountants, banks, and other sources
- Manage a business development pipeline by reviewing and responding to broker packages
- Apply and develop your financial analysis skills by reviewing, analyzing and summarizing financial statements for the team in order to drive our acquisition decisions
- Design budgets and projections based on historic financial statement and available database information
- Drive the due diligence process and identify new ways to best analyze the opportunities we are evaluating
- Create financing request packages and in-house reports that drive the best analysis in the industry
Experience, Skills and Abilities Required
- Must be a CPA or have passed all four CPA exams and/or will have CPA once work experience requirement is met
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required
- 2-3 years of prior work experience preferred
- Solid grasp of analyzing and creating financial statements
- Familiarity with Skilled Nursing and Seniors Housing a strong plus
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Must be a motivated self-starter, problem-solver, and ready, able and willing to work long hours
- Strong time management skills and a respect for deadlines
- Unquestioned personal and professional integrity
- First rate Excel skills
- Excellent math skills
