Investment Manager - Hospitality

JOB OVERVIEW:
The Investment Manager role will assist the office of the Chief Investment Officer in executing on corporate level transactions, fundraising opportunities, and assisting with the creation and implementation of new and existing brand extension platform investments. The role will include working with the development team to underwrite and execute new licenses, help partners develop property level programming and capital stack solutions, and assisting in the monitoring and reporting of licensee performance.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

• Perform corporate, portfolio, and property level cash flow, valuation, and return analyses and make recommendations based on results
• Work on special projects including modeling and helping present new brand extension platforms
• Interact with licensee partners and debt and equity investors
• Help develop and produce presentations including investment memos, investor reports, marketing materials, and other documents
• Review development plans, budgets, and schedules to identify profit maximizing opportunities
• Assist in the training and oversight of one or more Investment Analysts
• Maintain a high level of knowledge regarding the company’s venues, products, and happenings
• Maintain excel schedules to track the active pipeline, royalty and other fees, and asset level performance
• Conduct market research
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned or determined by management
• Maintain and retain confidential information regarding the Company, vendors, and guests
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures as established in the Staff Member Handbook

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 4 years of relevant hospitality experience in real estate acquisition, asset management, underwriting, brokerage, operations, or finance preferred
• Real estate cash flow modeling experience preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong quantitative and technical/computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required
• Self-starter capable of accomplishing complicated tasks with minimal supervision
• Good judgment and decision-making abilities

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or Hospitality related field required
• MBA in Real Estate or Finance preferred

OTHER:

Travel required, up to 15%
