Location: Denver, CO (On-site; this is not a hybrid or remote role)
Position Type: Full-Time
Experience Level: 7–15+ years
Compensation: $150,000 - $175,000 base + vested carry/promote

Are you passionate about commercial real estate investing and committed to executing our business plan, aligning departments, managing accountability, and keeping the organization running smoothly and efficiently?

If so, Knightbridge Capital, a Denver-based real estate investment firm specializing in the acquisition and management of multifamily and commercial assets throughout Colorado, is looking for a Sr. Associate/Director/VP to join our team!

About Knightbridge Capital
Knightbridge Capital is a privately held commercial real estate investment firm focused on investing in multifamily and commercial properties throughout Colorado, with transaction sizes ranging from $5 million to $100 million. Founded in 2021 by seasoned industry professionals Matt Ritter and Riki Hashimoto, who bring over 50 years of combined experience, Knightbridge Capital is dedicated to generating and growing investor wealth through disciplined, full-cycle investing in commercial real estate.

We operate with an entrepreneurial spirit, lean team structure, and commitment to excellence in all we do. We use the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) to ensure clear communication, accountability, and measurable results across our platform.

Role Summary
The Sr. Associate/Director/VP will serve as the firm’s senior operating leader, translating strategic vision into clear, actionable plans while overseeing daily operations and building a high-performance culture. This role is responsible for refining core processes, ensuring organizational alignment, and maintaining proactive communication with the principals.

Knightbridge Capital operates as a small, highly accountable team that works closely together—our culture is collaborative, nimble, and more hands-on than the average private equity firm. Long term, our goal is for this leader to grow into our Integrator role—a critical EOS function comparable to a President—driving execution, overseeing leadership functions, and ensuring consistent progress toward company objectives. This role is designed with a clear path to leadership and long-term participation in the firm’s success through vested carry/promote incentives.

You will lead the firm’s strategy across acquisitions, asset management, investor relations, and internal operations. This includes directly managing and developing a team of a Senior Financial Analyst, Investment Analyst, and Operations Manager, while maintaining clear communication with the principals on priorities, progress, and key business functions.

This role demands a hands-on leader with deep real estate investment expertise, a passion for managing people, high follow-through, and the communication skills to ensure the entire team is aligned and accountable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the Integrator in the EOS framework, owning operational leadership and disciplined execution.
  • Operationalize the owners’ strategic vision into well-defined goals and priorities.
  • Design, implement, and maintain firm-wide systems (reporting, KPIs, EOS meeting cadence, dashboards).
  • Oversee deal execution processes, underwriting, due diligence, and closing with the investment team.
  • Lead and support asset management oversight to ensure optimal portfolio performance and target achievement.
  • Direct investor communications, including timely, professional reporting and relationship management.
  • Mentor, manage, and develop junior team members (Senior Financial Analyst, Investment Analyst, and Operations Manager).
  • Coordinate external vendors, partners, property managers, and service providers.
  • Provide clear, proactive, and timely reporting to ownership—keeping them fully informed of priorities, issues, and results.
  • Foster a collaborative, transparent, and high-performing team culture.

Required Experience and Skills
  • 7–15+ years in commercial real estate investment or private equity.
  • Strong understanding of asset management, leasing, real estate finance, acquisitions, dispositions, underwriting, and portfolio operations.
  • Ability to review and manage financial modeling (DCF, IRR, equity waterfalls).
  • Familiarity with the Entrepreneurial Operating System® (EOS®) is a plus, but the ability and commitment to learn and operate effectively within its framework is required.
  • Hands-on experience overseeing property- and asset-level operations.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage up/down relationships.
  • Experience building, implementing, and refining business systems and processes.
  • Skilled at balancing multiple priorities, deadlines, and team workflows.
  • Experience managing investor relations, with familiarity with Juniper Square or similar tools a plus.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency required.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Soft Skills and Attributes
  • High follow-through: you take ownership and ensure tasks are completed without dropping the ball.
  • You take pride in anticipating needs before being asked, keeping leadership informed and avoiding surprises.
  • Adaptable and capable of pivoting priorities without losing focus or momentum.
  • Excited to work in a small, hands-on team within a dynamic, start-up-like environment.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and highly proactive.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to balance and align diverse stakeholders.

Knightbridge Capital Benefits
  • Competitive compensation and above market incentive structure.
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance.
  • Paid Time Off.
  • Flexible, on-site work schedule.
  • Opportunity to help shape a growing firm with a high degree of ownership and impact.
